2. Integrated Molding: Precise Shaping & Stable Structure
We adopt the high-temperature compression integrated molding process, the core molding process for silicone keypads. Relying on high-precision molds paired with professional vulcanization technology, we complete the shaping and curing of silicone raw materials. Before production, precise mold design is carried out to strictly control the keypad size, travel, and convex/concave structure, with a tolerance controlled within ±0.1mm, ensuring the keypad fits perfectly with the equipment panel without gaps and accurate alignment during pressing.
During the molding process, vulcanization temperature, pressure and time are strictly controlled, with a stable high-temperature and high-pressure environment of 160-180°C to fully cross-link and cure the silicone raw materials. The molded keypads are free of burrs, mold seams, material shortages and bubbles, with a compact and uniform overall structure. The conductive parts (conductive rubber/dome sheet area) are tightly bonded, avoiding failures such as unresponsive pressing and poor contact. The integrated molding process also greatly improves the overall sealing performance of the keypad, achieving basic dust and water resistance.
3. Compression Molding Process: Refined Vulcanization & Controllable Quality
As the core molding procedure, the compression molding process is operated by fully automatic compression molding equipment instead of traditional manual operation, ensuring uniform specifications and consistent performance for each batch of products, eliminating batch differences. A fixed amount of mixed silicone raw material is first placed into the mold cavity, and constant high pressure is applied after mold closing, paired with accurate vulcanization time to allow the raw material to quickly fill every detail of the mold. Whether it is a single-point keypad, a full keyboard or a special-shaped keypad, the mold shape can be completely replicated.
For conductive keypads, conductive rubber inlay molding is completed synchronously during compression, achieving seamless bonding between insulating rubber and conductive rubber, with a stable contact resistance of less than 150 ohms and long-lasting stable conductivity; for keypads with convex points, non-slip lines or logo grooves, textures and grooves are molded in one step during compression, eliminating the need for secondary processing, ensuring structural integrity and enhancing pressing hand feel and anti-slip performance.
4. Precision Printing: Clear Patterns & Long-Lasting Fade Resistance
We offer a variety of printing processes includingscreen printing, pad printing and laser engraving to meet printing needs for characters, logos, patterns and markings, with high printing precision, no burrs or halos at edges, and high-definition, highly recognizable characters. Special silicone ink with strong adhesion is used, paired with a curing process, so printed patterns are friction and scratch resistant, and will not fall off, fade or discolor after repeated daily pressing and wiping.
Customization options include single-color printing, multi-color overprinting, hollow printing, embossed printing and other styles to suit the visual and operational needs of different equipment; for backlit keypads, light-transmissive printing technology is available to ensure clear visibility of markings at night or in low-light environments, balancing aesthetics and practicality. Drawings and samples are strictly verified before printing to avoid misprinting and missing printing, and each batch of printed products undergoes dual manual and equipment inspection to ensure accurate pattern positioning and uniform color.
5. Multiple Surface Treatments: Upgraded Hand Feel & Enhanced Protection
After molding and printing, a variety of surface treatment processes are provided according to application scenarios and hand feel requirements, comprehensively improving the keypad's texture, durability and protection performance:
- PU Soft Touch Oil/Matt Oil Coating: High-quality soft touch oil is sprayed, delivering a delicate and smooth surface, dust and fingerprint resistance, with a premium matte finish. It also enhances surface wear resistance to reduce daily wear and tear;
- Glossy Surface Treatment: Retains the original glossy texture of silicone, with bright color and easy cleaning, suitable for products focusing on appearance such as home appliances and toys;

Finished products undergo a full-process cleaning treatment of fully automatic ultrasonic deep cleaning + pure water washing + drying before delivery, thoroughly removing mold release agent residues from compression, printing ink stains, surface dust and fine impurities, eliminating residual harmful substances. Environmentally friendly neutral cleaning agent is used during cleaning, non-corrosive and harmless to silicone materials and printed patterns. The cleaned keypads have a flawless, clean surface, no odor or stains, complying with food-grade and medical-grade cleanliness standards.
After cleaning, constant temperature drying is performed to ensure complete dryness, avoiding mold and adhesion caused by moisture. Appearance and cleanliness are inspected one by one after drying, and only qualified products can enter the packaging process, ensuring every product received by customers is clean, hygienic and ready for direct assembly.
7. Full-Process Manual Inspection: Layered Quality Control & Defect Elimination
To ensure every finished silicone keypad meets qualified standards, in addition to automated equipment testing, multi-process special manual inspections are added throughout the entire production. We implement a triple manual quality inspection mode: "self-inspection + mutual inspection + final inspection" covering the whole production process, intercepting defective products from the source to ensure unqualified products never enter the next process or leave the factory, building a comprehensive quality defense line.
During rubber compound mixing and compression molding, each keypad is manually inspected for appearance to eliminate defective products with burrs, material shortages, bubbles, deformation and excessive mold seams, with precise verification of dimensional tolerances and structural shapes to ensure full consistency with drawings and samples; after the printing process, manual verification is conducted on the positioning accuracy and clarity of printed patterns and characters, checking for missing printing, misprinting, halos and color fading, and testing ink adhesion to eliminate printing defects; after surface treatment and cleaning and drying, a final comprehensive inspection is carried out to carefully check coating uniformity, scratches and dirt residues, test keypad resilience, conductivity and sealing effect, and verify quantity and specifications to ensure finished products are free of any quality defects.
